Al fresco Farm to Table experience in the beautiful canals of Xochimilco

We'll meet at the beautiful UNESCO site to embark on an amazing journey through canals and wild marigolds. We'll enjoy a delicious meal inspired by the chef's personal stories with their loved departed, followed by an artisanal mezcal tasting, craft beer, a tour around the chinampa and a gorgeous collaborative Day of the dead Altar. Itinerary

10:00 AM Meeting at Cuemanco Pier

Let us meet directly at the pier

Xochimilco Canals

We’ll navigate through the beautiful canals on board of one of the colorful trajineras (boats)

Chocolate and the famous "pan de muerto"

Let’s start with one of the most traditional pairings of the season: chocolate and Day of the dead bread. This with the help of our favourite cacao vendor: La Rifa.

Arca Tierra and the chinampas

Learning about the farming techniques used in Mexico and we’ll enjoy the fresh produce grown locally.

Artisanal Mezcal Tasting

Omar from the shop Mis Mezcales will share with us mezcales straight out of his private stash. We’ll learn a little bit more about this precious Mexican spirit.

Altar, the final touch

We’ll have typical Day of the Dead altar you can collaborate with, by bringing a picture or an item that reminds you of your dearly departed.

And the food!

An amazing meal cooked by a talented Chefs inspired by the food they would be serving to their passed loved ones. A very meaningful moment.
